Mission Statement

To motivate and mobilize the Baytown-LaPorte SDA Church to pray with unity, purpose and power for the fulfillment of Gods agenda in our church and family.

For our church to be grounded and rooted in love for Christ and to experience the power of prayer "for My house should be called a house of prayer".

Prayer Calendar

Zoom Devotion Schedule

Sundays - 7-8:30am, Clearing the way for the Holy Spirit (study/prayer) with Lisa, Dale, Caroline, Sylvia, and Fannie.

Monday - 5-6am, Early morning devotions on various topics (Health, Praying for Favor, Spiritual Warfare, Intercessory Prayer).

Wednesdays - 6-7am, Praying for our children with Caroline.

Fridays - 6:15-7:15am, Cloud Witnesses devotional with Sylvia C.

Desire of Ages Study

Every Sabbath there is a study on the Ellen G. White book, The Desire of Ages.

This study usually begins some time after the potluck (if there's a potluck) and is held in the annex.

All are welcome to join.

Prayer Requests

How to submit prayer requests:

1. Fill out a prayer card and put it into the prayer box located in the foyer of the church.

2. Submit an online request using the button below labeled "Prayer Requests".

3. Give prayer request to a prayer team member (see list below) either written, verbally or by text message.

4. Same as #3, but give it to the pastor or an elder (and they can get it to the prayer team).

Note: All prayer requests are considered confidential and only read and prayed upon by prayer team members. Occasionally the Prayer Director may consider something needing the pastor's attention, but those are rare occurrences. If information is shared in board meetings, it is only generic information like numbers, statistics and current trends.
